Dengue-Induced Hepatic Injury.

Dengue has a significant impact on the disease burden in the population residing in tropical countries. It is transmitted by the bite of Aedes mosquito. The virus have got some hepatotoxic effects. Most of the cases are asymptomatic. However, it should be considered as one of the causes of Acute Liver Failure in endemic countries. Our article focuses on the pathogenesis, manifestations, investigations and, the treatment options for dengue related hepatic dysfunction.
