Exciting opportunity to learn cross-functional aspects of Quality Control in an industry lab-based seting!  The Quality Control intern’s primary role is to provide Quality Control Technical and Compliance Data review support to the Quality Control department.  They will ensure compliance through conducting technical and compliance reviews (second person verification) of QC raw data from raw material, in-process, final product, stability, method qualification and EM/Micro test results.  Additionally, the intern will communicate and resolve corrections with a wide range of operators across several shifts.
 
The Role
  • Assists with the preparation of solutions required for testing.
  • Performs assigned sample testing (such as Appearance, pH, Osmolality) following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assists with routine laboratory practices
  • Assists with identifying expired chemicals and solutions and disposes of them following site safety procedures.
 
The Candidate
In order to be eligible for an internship at Catalent, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a College or University and must have completed the Sophomore year in College
  • Must be an undergraduate student in a technical discipline (e.g. biology, biotechnology, engineering) or related life science program
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States
  • Able to work full time (40 hours/week) for a 10-12 week period during months of June, July, August
