PhD candidate in David Westneat's lab (2017-current). I study phenotypic plasticity using birds (primarily house sparrows). Specifically, I am interested in the interaction between developmental plasticity and plastic parental effects. I completed my BSc in Animal Behaviour at the University of Exeter in 2015. I stayed at Exeter to pursue an MSc (by research) in which I studied embryonic plasticity and incubation plasticity using chestnut-crowned babblers. My key interests are plasticity, behavior, parental care, development, ecology and evolution. Check out my website for more info: alexcones.com
